Quaint, pleasant location with a simple, rustic menu. The service was not very warm and the prices for food and drinks were excessive.

On the 31st of October we celebrated the 75th birthday of my husband in the Berggagsthaus Alteburg. As often. A cozy ambience with beautifully set tables, friendly service and delicious freshly prepared and regional food made the birthday dinner an experience. Thank you, we will gladly come again.

Wonderful, despite fog, was our trip with a round walk. Then coffee in the mountain inn. Cake plate super fresh, sundae, coffee and espresso as well. Thank you for the good hospitality and LG

We were on September 4, 2019 in the Berggasthaus Alteburgturm eat and can say: our expectations were exceeded. The food was very good. Absolutely delicious, pleasantly spicy and generous in the serving. In beautiful weather we could sit outside. We also got the key to the tower from the very friendly and welcoming boss and enjoyed a wonderful view. She holds the key to visit the observation tower for the city of Arnstadt, which can be climbed during opening hours. We had the opportunity to talk briefly with the chef of the house. He gave us some good tips on the environment. We will be back. Thank you so much! It was wonderful. Your friendly inn has crowned us the day and visit of Thuringia.

Very friendly service. Price-performance tip top !!! Even without a previous hike, definitely worth a visit. Dogs are welcome in the beer garden. Anytime again, recommended!

Small nice restaurant with Thuringian cuisine. Always reserve on Sundays. Unfortunately, nothing to eat. Fries weren't all through. My roulade was only lukewarm. Service was very nice and friendly.
